I don’t pay much attention to the Libertarian Party because it seems hopelessly incompetent as a political party, but Mr. Quick (the other Jeffrey) brought this one to my attention.
Prosecuting child pornography is a valid police function under the NonAggression Principle, but when the police are chronic aggressors in almost every other field of life, why would we want to encourage them in any thing? Why, especially, would we want to find another area in which the Federales can grow? When you have a cancer, you don’t let it grow for the sake of fighting another disease.
That said, I will probably vote LP in the fall. I don’t have Mr. Quick’s tolerance for a party whose platform starts off with this:
The Constitution Party gratefully acknowledges the blessing of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as Creator, Preserver and Ruler of the Universe and of these United States. We hereby appeal to Him for mercy, aid, comfort, guidance and the protection of His Providence as we work to restore and preserve these United States.
This great nation was founded, not by religionists, but by Christians; not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For this very reason peoples of other faiths have been and are afforded asylum, prosperity, and freedom of worship here.
Or I could just not vote at all, I guess.

I can understand that being hard to take. I’d be less tolerant of it if I thought they had any chance of winning.
