A big part of restoring the Everglades is building a reservoir to hold all the rain water that currently goes into the ocean without any benefit to anything on terra firma. (Well, it’s the Everglades, so make that terra-sorta-firma.) So somebody sues and the whole thing gets put on hold. And who is suing? Take a big guess.
That’s right. The environmentalists.
