The blogger goes all ooh and aah about this taking place in India. I suspect the fact that the Muslims there are surrounded by a billion or so nonMuslims has something to do with it. Probably also the memory of what happened when the Raj split up into India and Pakistan has something to do with it–namely, the knowledge that Hindus are not all followers of Mahatma Gandhi and will fight back.
